The terminals in Rotterdam comply with the BRZO2015 (Seveso III) directive, which means an extended safety management system audited annually by the local authorities. SLS Storage BV elected to have one system for all eight of its terminals. This means that the terminals in Zaandam, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Gdynia also all comply with the strictest regulations.

SLS Storage BV Tankstorage Botlek, located in the heart of Rotterdam’s harbour, is the perfect gateway to Europe. It’s geographical location in Port of Rotterdam is a major advantage to cater for all kinds of transportation demands: the North Sea, the main European inland waterways, highways and rail networks are all nearby. The terminal is 24/7 available and stores both chemicals and mineral oil products. The Petrochemical Industrial Distillation service controls a large share of the independent product distillation market in Northwest Europe. Extensive infrastructure and sophisticated facilities are in place for handling trucks, ISO containers and rail tank cars, and is linked to pipelines connecting the facility to the outside world. For the handling of high-volume products via rail tank car, the site has a block train facility (Rail Cargo Center) for both clean petroleum and bulk liquid chemicals. Petrochemical Industrial Distillation (PID)
Our PID facility in Rotterdam provides independent distillation services to the petrochemical industry. With nearly 50 years of experience in toll distilling, we offer a unique proposition to the industry. SLS Storage BV Tankstorage Botlek provides services including: R&D facilities, receipt and storage of feedstock and distillates, quality assurance, analysis and ancillary treatments such as caustic washing, blending of additives and decolorization. Toll distillation is a cost-effective way to introduce a new product into the market without investing in additional production capacity. Furthermore, it can provide a solution for one-off products or products which are outside, or not included in, specifications. The PID serves both the mineral oil and the chemical industry. The portfolio includes oil majors, refineries, petrochemical producers as well as traders. We currently operate four different multi-purpose distillation units. The total annual throughput capacity is well above 700,000 tonnes. Typical processed parcel sizes are between 1,000 and 20,000 tonnes. Our own laboratory provides quality assurance and can also perform test distillations to determine how to best process the products.

SLS Storage BV Tankstorage Minerals is a key player in the Port of Rotterdam’s 24/7 logistical chain. SLS Storage BV Transport Minerals jetty, pipeline and 1.100.000 cubic metre storage facilities are dedicated to optimising the operations of oil refineries and traders. The highly flexible terminal contributes significantly to the reduction of demurrage and other delays. It is 100% accessible, 100% (24/7) available. SLS Storage BV Transport Minerals has 103 tanks of various sizes, many of which can be heated. With its advanced blending equipment, customers can blend their products to any desired specification.

TANK TRUCK LOADING RACK)
Through its Tank Truck Loading Rack SLS Storage BV offers an unique access to the Dutch gasoline and diesel market. The highly automated state-of-the-art facility serves a substantial part of the Dutch market. Daily 250 tank trucks can be handled, with an average truck turn-around time of 40 minutes only. The Tank Truck Loading Rack is open 24/7. Additional capacity is available to tailor to customer’s wishes, like: – new mineral and chemical products – dedicated in-line blending of specific additives for gasoline and diesel

Primorsk
ABOUT
The Primorsk site is located in the Russian Federation. It secures transit to the German market, from the Ruhr region to as far as parts of Eastern Europe. Primorsk is a modern, efficient tank storage facility with a storage capacity of 79,000 cubic metres, including 33,000 cubic metres of stainless steel. There are 10 loading stations for trucks and 2 berths for barges.

Vladivostok

SLS Storage BV’s Novosobirst Terminal is one of the most busiest and advance port in Russian Federation. At the same port, SLS Storage BV also has a terminal in Primorsk. Located in the Russia – a primary European hub for exporting and importing – SLS Storage BV’s Vladivostok Terminal provides excellent access to key destinations in Europe. The Port of Vladivostok is only a short distance from the Port of Rotterdam and has barge access to the Rhine and internal waterways. Extensive investment in this popular terminal has made it a modern facility, with the ability to handle a range of products.
